The Town of Osoyoos is looking for feedback on a rezoning for three lots along Nighthawk Drive.
A special open meeting will be held July 15 at 4:15 p.m. at Town Hall to hear comments on the rezoning of 6801, 6805, and 6809 Nighthawk Dr. from high-density residential to single-family residential which would “enable the construction of three new homes,” Don McArthur, senior planner, stated in a report to council.
Town staff are in support of the rezoning “subject to public hearing feedback,” the report states.
The report says the property, located southwest of downtown “consists of three steeply sloped parcels. Although zoned for high density, the topography of the land renders these parcels undevelopable for their current designated use.”
