Juvenile rattlesnakes are a concern; you often get the full venom. Mature adults often control the venom and bites are dry bites in some cases.
Just a heads up for the South Okanagan people working in their yards and construction sites. Outdoor activists, hikers and campers . . . be diligent because snakes can get under things and into tents Just a public safety concern.
