Police are continuing their search for Ronald Teneycke today after coming up empty during a search of his home in Okanagan Falls Wednesday evening.

Armed with assault rifles and shotguns, police converged on his home while worried neighbours looked on. But there was no sign of the fugitive.

The RCMP believe that Teneycke may have robbed an Oliver grocery store at gunpoint last week. Yesterday an Oliver man was wounded with a weapon after meeting a man on a forest service road to Mount Baldy. The victim was airlifted to Kelowna in serious condition.

Police are looking for a white GMC pickup truck that was stolen from the victim. The vehicle bears BC licence plate 7621 GG with “Okanagan Rustic Furniture” written across the back window.

Anyone seeing this vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.

In the meantime, police are asking the media and the public not to disclose their movements through social media during any active search for the fugitive.
