Vehicle towedWEBThe Oliver RCMP had to assist the BC Ambulance Service with an un-cooperative male who refused medical assistance on Fairview Road  near Main Street on March 19.

Corporal Mike Field said it was determined that the male, who was operating a motor vehicle at the time, had recently experienced some form of seizure.

The 67 year old had no recollection of how he’d arrived at the location, and didn’t remember operating a motor vehicle. The driver was not involved in a motor vehicle collision, and was otherwise uninjured, Field said.

Police assisted paramedics in transporting the male to South Okanagan General Hospital where he was examined and released a short time later. The vehicle was towed and a pet dog was placed in temporary care until family members could retrieve it.
