Light jazz standards were the focus of the entertainment Thursday during the Music In The Park Concert Series at Oliver Community Park.
Jazz Out West entertained those in attendance on a rainy night, which saw the musicians under the cover of the Oliver Community Stage, and music lovers taking cover under the tents provided by the Oliver Parks and Rec. Society.
Singer Iris Larratt, a three-time Juno Award nominee, sang many jazz favourites, including The Rose, along with a medley of Beatles classics. Joining Larratt on stage was Jim Wyse on piano, Bob Park on drums, and Bob Larratt on bass.
The Music in the Park series continues Aug. 28 and Sept. 4.
