It’s time to get creative, think outside the box, and create a Christmas tree.
The tree will be displayed in the downtown core at the lot next to OK Photo on Friday, Nov. 29. Set-up will be at 9 am on that Friday, and take-down will be the same evening or the following morning at 9 am on November 30. You will be responsible for delivering and picking up your own tree.
The coveted Snowman Trophy will be presented to the winners of the best tree. The tree will be judged based on creativity (no lights required).
It’s a fun way to take part in the Light Up, and if you’re a business owner, to promote your company.
If you don’t want to display a tree, you can participate and support the Light Up. Possible examples include in-house specials, display table on Main Street, and caroling (get a group together).
It doesn’t cost a thing and you don’t have to be a business to participate, so come out and show your creative side!
