Families are invited to spend Halloween night at the biggest and most “spooktacular” carnival around next Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 pm at the Oliver Community Centre.
Run for your lives! Scareview is back in town for children 12 and under. Admission is by donation.
Come in costume to play fun games, collect “Boo Bucks,” enjoy some popcorn and retrieve your candy bag on this spooky night.
Jake Evans (Jedi Dancers) will be putting on a performance again this year, so don’t miss the show.
A new committee is preparing another haunted house in the community pool, and Parks and Recreation staff are looking forward to people walking through and getting scared. Watch out for bats, bloody limbs, freaks, heads and things that go bump in the night.
Staff would appreciate some help from volunteers to run carnival games in the hall, as well as hand out popcorn and assist in other functions.
Also, Parks and Recreation is still accepting candy donations for the event.
If you are interested in assisting, or have any questions, please contact Katie Eaton at [email protected], or call 250-498-4985 for more information.
