Grandmothers for Africa grateful for local support

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Osoyoos chapter of the Grandmothers for Africa, I would like to say a huge thank you to the Osoyoos Times for all the coverage you provide to our organization.

Your support for our special events, plus the weekly reminders in the community bulletin board have enabled us to send $1,800 to the Stephen Lewis Foundation in Ottawa for the Grandmothers in Africa, who provide support for families affected by HIV and other serious health issues.
