Members of the public invited to attend meeting of local book clubs on May 27

Are you thinking of starting or joining a book club?

We can help – we’ve got books! And, we’ve got a library card for you.Reading entertains, it enlightens and it enriches.  At the Osoyoos Regional Library we aim to support people on their reading journey.

We would like to invite everyone to a Gathering of the Osoyoos Book Clubs hosted by the Osoyoos Library and the Library Book Club on Wednesday, May 27 from 7:00pm – 8:30 pm.  Whether you already belong to a book club, would like to join one, or would be interested in starting one of your own, please join us for an evening of refreshments, lively conversation and sharing.  We’d especially like to invite anyone visiting from an out-of-town book club.

Our Osoyoos Library Book Club meets the third Wednesday morning of every month at 10:30 a.m.  We also have a Tween Book Club. Their next meeting is also on Wednesday, May 27 at 3 p.m. after school.  They are currently reading Watership Down by Richard Adams.
