Two teams from the South Okanagan Special Olympics faced a visiting team of Special Olympians from Princeton in a mini-bonspiel in Oliver on Saturday.
The event is one of many that provides activities and socializing for adults with various learning disabilities.
Winning first place in Saturday’s event was South Okanagan Team A, with players Kyle Sanderson, Alysha Thomsen, Barnabas LaFlamme and Wayne Bierbaum.
Second place went to the visiting team.
The third place team was the South Okanagan team of Angela Flannigan, Tom Francis, David Causley and Alberto Holz.
Holz is from Osoyoos and the other South Okanagan players are from Oliver.
