Osoyoos artist Michael Jorden (left) once again was awarded Best in Show for his painting “Crossing Poboktan Pass” on Saturday at the opening of the art galley’s new exhibition. The exhibition features the work of members of the local chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Presenting the awards was FCA chapter president Brad Hillis. Second place went to Carol Munro for “Gestation #6” and third place went to Peggy Stel for “Nature’s Fingers.” Jorden, who also won Best of Show in 2013, said his painting was based on a 1930s photo showing cowboys in a pass in Banff National Park. Honourable mention went to Debbie Tougas for “Birds and Wire” and Barb Hofer for “Winter Retreat.” (Richard McGuire photo)
