Five vehicles were involved in a series of collisions on Main Street Friday morning that led to Osoyoos RCMP and BC Ambulance responding.
The accident occurred at about 11:45 a.m. by the intersection of Main Street and 87th Street.
Osoyoos RCMP say a Dodge Dakota rear-ended a Buick Century that had backed out onto Main Steet.
The vehicle then continued east and struck three other diagonally parked and unoccupied vehicles.
BC Ambulance attended as there were some minor health concerns from the accident, RCMP say. The matter is still under investigation.
Man charged following mail thefts
A Keremeos man has been charged following a rash of thefts from mailboxes in Osoyoos and the South Okanagan area.
Michael Minchau faces criminal charges of mischief, theft of mail and possession of stolen property.
Osoyoos RCMP said the charges result from the theft of mail from a box on Meadowlark Drive in Osoyoos.
Items recovered from Jones Boys break-in
Tools, batteries and a 2014 quad stolen in a recent break-in at Jones Boys Automotive have mostly been recovered, Osoyoos RCMP said. The property would not have been recovered without leads from the community. See also.
