The Osoyoos Seniors Centre would like to thank everyone who donated to the local pyjama drive.
The clubs, businesses and citizens of this community can know that “little people” will be warm and cozy this Christmas.
We would especially like to thank the two members from the seniors centre, Connie Osachoff and Marlene Lipps, who worked hard to make this venture a success. Osachoff came up with the idea and Lipps helped every step of the way.
A big thank you is also sent out to Marieze Tarr, chair of the board of trustees with School District 53, and Karen Hawitt from the school district, for distributing the pyjamas to local children.
More than 120 pairs of pyjamas were donated.
