A flagpole at Loose Bay Campground has been dedicated to the late Greg Norton.
Norton, a well-respected farmer from Oliver who passed away in February, was known for his involvement in local agriculture, sitting on regional district, Parks and Recreation and BC Wildlife Federation boards, and his advocacy for migrant workers through Loose Bay Campground.
Over $8,000.00 was raised for Loose Bay in memory of Greg, through private donations and cheques from the Rotary Club and the Cherry Growers Association.
