Oliver firefighters and RCMP attended a single vehicle accident just north of town this afternoon.
A car struck a utility pole just past Mike’s Auto on Highway 97. At least one elderly person was treated by local paramedics, but no serious injuries were reported.
Police are still investigating the cause.
