The Town of Oliver is seeing a significant increase in building permits and construction values.

Council released a year-end summary for 2017, which shows a total of 101 permits issued, compared to 67 the previous year.

The total value of construction was $15.6 million (year to date), compared to $9.8 million in the previous year to date.

There were 45 new residential permits issued year to date, compared to 11 the previous year. New residential value totaled $11.9 million, compared to $3.6 million the previous year.
