Members of the Sun Bowl Skating Club had a successful weekend competing in Vernon at the 2018 Okanagan Region Championships. Kyra Koepke, pictured here, won gold in the Star 5 freeskate competition, achieving her all-time high score. Her sister Lindsay Koepke won the gold medal in the silver interpretive event. It was her first time competing with a new program. In total, the Osoyoos club had eight skaters competing in 11 events. Riley Condon earned a bronze medal. Willow Logan took gold assessment in Star 2, Mila Keller took silver in Star 1 and Isabella Cassini took bronze. The club also competes in Kelowna the first weekend in March and they hold their year-end show at the Sun Bowl Arena at 6 p.m. on March 8. (Richard McGuire photo)
