The Dorcas Ladies of the United Church presented a cheque for $2,000 to the Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society on Friday from earnings at the Thrift Shop. Receiving the cheque is Birgit Arnstein (centre), president of the OLWQS. Arnstein said the gift was unexpected and will be used to repair the OLWQS boat, which is used for testing water on Osoyoos Lake.
