The Town of Osoyoos as advised that a water main has been “impacted and requires repair,” as a result of construction work on 89th Street just south of Main Street.

This has resulted in a temporary water service outage in the area. “Town crews and contractors are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service,” the Town said in an e-news update.

“Once your water service has returned, and if you are concerned about discoloured water, turn on the cold-water faucet closest to your water meter or main shut-off valve and allow the water to run for approximately 20 minutes, or until the water runs clear,” the Town advised.
