When it comes to a sales pitch, it’s surely impossible to beat a teaser that contains the line describing something as “the lovechild of Mel Brooks and Monty Python”.

Filled with clever wordplay and anything-goes pop culture references, the comedy of terrors promises a 90-minute, quick-changing, laugh-out-loud reimagining of the gothic classic. And yes, SOAP promises it’s perfect for audiences of “all blood types”.
Set in the treacherous mountains of Transylvania, and revolving around one of horror’s most iconic villains – Count Dracula of course – the action follows famed female vampire hunter Jean Van Helsing and company as they chase “Drac” from Transylvania to the British countryside to London and back.
“Their antics are guaranteed to increase your pulse and cause bloodcurdling screams – of laughter, promises SOAP.

Honing lines and dress rehearsals as opening night is fast approaching.
