Osoyoos Fire Rescue (OFR) received a special charitable donation last week from residents of Luna Rosa, on Cottonwood Drive. A group of nine children operated a lemonade stand to raise money for the local fire service, raising a total of $214.55 for the OFR’s charitable association.
According to an OFR post on social media, the group not only sold lemonade but also sold cookies, bracelets and crocheted dishcloths to raise funds.
The fire department invited the children in for a visit to the hall who then had a great time playing with the equipment and talking to the staff from the fire hall. “A big thank you from all of us at Osoyoos Fire Rescue!”

Fun at the fire station for the young entrepreneurs. OFR Facebook photo.
