Oliver is a little bit cleaner and residents are feeling a sense of connection with mother earth after people got out and picked up some trash for Earth Day 2023 in Oliver.
On a sunny Friday April 21, Oliver Parks and Recreation had garbage bags and gloves for people interested in promoting a clean up for Earth Day.
Among the groups participating, Tuc-el-nuit Elementary School got some of their students out to do some pick up, and Shirley, a local Oliver resident, was out picking up some trash on her own among many others.
