The Town of Osoyoos and Rural Water Districts 8 & 9 are now under Normal Water Use Restrictions, as of September 6 at 12 p.m.
The Town implemented Stage 1 Water Use Restrictions on August 13 in response to what it said were “water quality and demand concerns”.
Osoyoos Stage 1 water restrictions in effect
“With the onset of cooler weather and resulting less usage, the levels at our reservoirs have improved,” the Town said. As a result, Stage 1 Water Use Restrictions are no longer required.
The Town extended its gratitude to all residents that reduced their water use.
