On Sept. 2, police responded to a burned out Honda Civic on the flats off McKinney Road. The vehicle was reported stolen from Willowbrook on July 21.

A paddle board was stolen from under the deck of a Primrose Lane residence sometime between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2.

On Sept. 3, police attended a single-vehicle collision on a property at a curve on Road 7. The driver stated his tire popped and he lost control and went off road, colliding with a highway sign post, orchard post, and some apple trees. The approximate damage was $5,000. Drug/alcohol impairment was not suspected, according to police.

The driver declined emergency health services and reported no injuries. The air bag did not deploy but a restraint was used.

Police reported significant damage to a white 1998 Lexus ES350: windshield completely smashed, driver’s rear-view mirror broken off, front bumper severely damaged, and front driver’s tire was flat.

Also on Sept. 3, a motor vehicle collision occurred between an SUV and a motorcycle at 5647 Highway 97.

Police report that the driver of a Land Rover said he was travelling southbound on Highway 97 and began signalling left to turn into the parking lot at the Sikh Temple. At that time a motorcycle attempted to pass him and he collided with it.

The driver and passenger on the motorcycle were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

On Sept. 6, police received a report that a 2016 Nissan Sentra (DH016X) was stolen from the parking lot of South Okanagan General Hospital.

Police report the keys had been left inside.
