The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS) announced today that the Evacuation Alert issued for Electoral Area A on August 8, has been rescinded.
The RDOS is advising those who are now allowed to return home, to obey all signs and detours upon returning. There will be welcome home packages for people returning home at security check points.
These packages will also have information about next steps, including contacting insurance agencies, how to manage spoiled food and counselling support.
