A chance to purchase tickets for the much anticipated 2025 Half Corked  Marathon are now on offer with the opening of the ticket lottery.

Winners will be selected at random and contacted with the opportunity to purchase tickets ($275 + tax) to the event, which takes place on Saturday May 31 in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.

The unique event sees participants running through the vineyards and valleys of the region’s iconic wine-growing areas, the Black Sage Road and Golden Mile, along with sections along the Okanagan River.

Winery stations dot the route and participants have the opportunity to engage with the region’s colourful characters as they pour samples for runners to enjoy.

Participants should plan that their wave time could be assigned at any time on Saturday morning and will have a maximum of 3.5 hours to complete the course.

Endorsed by BC Athletics, participants should be able to run 5km with some levels of incline over rugged terrain, in order to comfortably complete the route in the time allocated. As always, the Sag Wagon will be ready to assist marathoners who don’t reach the mid-way point before the cut off time, and transport them to the Party at the Finish Line.

More wineries pour for guests at the Party at the Finish Line in the Oliver Community Park, part of an afternoon of fun, live music and festivities open to all. Creative costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for the best individual costume, best team and best skit.

Toast the start of summer with live music, food trucks, wine tastings, market and a paella feast from Vancouver’s Paella Guys. Entrance is free but there’s a $25 charge for those wanting to wine taste (glass / tokens) which includes lunch (complimentary for Half Corked Marathon participants).
