The District Wine Village will host over 100 Porsches this Saturday as the BC Interior Region of the Porsche Club of America holds its annual “Shades of Stuttgart” car show July 26.

The event will showcase over 100 Porsche vehicles displayed throughout the wine village, offering a rare opportunity to see a stunning variety of models up close.

In addition to the stunning lineup of cars, families can enjoy kid-friendly activities, including Porsche-themed colouring posters.

Visitors are also invited to cast their vote for their favourite Porsche in the crowd.

Admission is free but attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, cash, or cheques in support of the Oliver Food Bank which will be accepted by Food Bank volunteers.

Matt Stogryn, President BC Interior Region of the Porsche Club of America says he’s been involved in this type of event a number of  times while in the lower mainland.

Aside from the  charity aspect it’s also “a great way to let the public, especially young kids, have a close look at many vintage and newer special models and the various colours which Porsche is known for.”

The club here has done this type of event twice before at KF Aerospace in Kelowna, he adds.
