The much loved Pig Out Festival is returning this May 3-5 after last year’s unprecedented wildfires forced the Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association (OOWA) to postpone the event in the fall.
Fasten your seat belts, this is going to be a summer unlike any you’ve seen before. Organizers of Osoyoos’ and Oliver’s much-loved summer events, along with new additions, are busy planning and organizing, keenly aware of the thinly veiled excitement that promises a very busy tourist season this year.
The much-anticipated firefighting reinforcements from Mexico arrived in Osoyoos last night and are now undergoing briefings before boots hit the ground tomorrow, according to the B.C. Wildfire Service.
