South Okanagan Amateur Players (SOAP) debuted “The Play That Goes Wrong,” directed by Diane Gludovatz, last weekend at Venables Theatre in Oliver, and the cast and crew did not disappoint.
Oliver’s art community opens its doors wide to welcome the public to its annual open house celebration. The bay doors roll up at Oliver’s Quail’s Nest Arts Centre for their spring open house on Sunday May 19 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Leveraging the success of last January’s Double “D” Diner theatre production, local playwright Jim Dinwoodie has written a sequel with many of the original characters and actors alongside some newbies, returning for a “part deux”.
After three years of planning and delays, the South Okanagan Amateur Players (SOAP) are finally able to bring Raymond Briggs’s famous Cold War-era dark comedy, Where The Wind Blows, to life at Venables Theatre.
