Oliver spirit was alive and well this weekend with a record crowd packing Main St., the Municipal Hall area and the winter market and bonfire around the Oliver Visitor’s Centre kicking off with a bang on Friday afternoon/evening.
The Oliver Knights of Columbus are again undertaking the Christmas Food Hamper Campaign which has been supporting the community for over 50 years.
The much loved, highly anticipated Oliver Light Up is set to sparkle even brighter this year with familiar favourites returning, joined by new events to make it an even bigger celebration on Nov. 29-30.
Nobody would have thought there was a pandemic judging from Friday’s Fire and Ice and Light-Up festival in Oliver.
Tonight’s Light-Up in Oliver was like pre-pandemic times as crowds lined Main Street for plenty of holiday cheer and revelry.
The Fire and Ice Festival is well underway in Oliver leading up to this evening’s Light-Up celebration downtown.
