Long-time Anarchist resident and amateur astronomer remembered
The astronomical community, and indeed the world, has lost one of its brightest guiding lights. Anarchist Mountain resident John “Jack” Borden Newton, a renowned and beloved amateur astronomer, passed away on November 11, 2025. He was 83.
