October 24, 1941 – January 31, 2024

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Mrs. Rosemarie Byers of Oliver passed away at McKinney Place Extended Care at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Gertrude Wantje; stepmother, Anna Wantje; sisters, Anne and Eleanor and their spouses. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ken; her daughters, Cheryl (Tom) and Lisa; her grandchildren, Brittany, Joe, Kassandra (Tyson), and TJ; great-grandchildren, Raiden, Sierra, Austin, Arabella, Ryder, Roper, and Cashton; as well as many nieces and nephews. She lived most of her life throughout BC. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Ken. Throughout her life she had a few different jobs but she was most passionate about sales, which won her two trips. Rose had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others and volunteering. She loved playing games and reading. Rose also belonged to various Trailer Clubs throughout the years as well as a Vintage car club. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday February 9, 2024, at Valley Congregational Church.
