October 6, 1951 – November 21, 2023

Ron Becker, aged 72, of Oliver, B.C., passed away on November 21, 2023.

Born on October 6, 1951, at the Fairview Hospital in Oliver, he was the son of Roy and Erica Becker.

Ron graduated from Southern Okanagan Secondary School in 1969. His love of the open road kept him on the move most of his life, having worked in the Arctic, travelled through the South Pacific, and journeyed extensively throughout North America. Ron loved the outdoors, and the mountains and lakes of the South Okanagan held a special place in his heart.

A memorial service will be held at Oliver Cemetery on August 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the South Okanagan Rehabilitation Centre for Owls (https://www.sorco.org).

Ron will be remembered for his caring nature, free spirit, and wild sense of humor. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
