Robert Leon Shull
May 23, 1956-March 19, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Robert Leon Shull, who passed away in Osoyoos surrounded by his family, after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Rob was predeceased by his brother Tom in 1991, his mother Alice in 2022, and his father Leo in 2014.
He is survived by his wife Pat, his two sons, Jason(Audra) and Matt(Kate), his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jayden, Jacob, Mataya, Marley, Madison, his brother Terry (Stephanie), and sister Diane (Clive). Also by Dave, Sandra, Carolyn, and Sonny. He will be fondly remembered by all.
Rob had a passion for traveling, gardening, and will be remembered for his positive attitude. He was an avid Canucks fan and a dedicated volunteer at the local food bank. Rob also loved to BBQ and host family events. Rob was also well known for his secret Caesar salad and smoked salmon recipes.
Some of Rob’s fondest memories were visiting his son, Matt, and his wife, Kate, and being there for the birth of his granddaughters in The Bahamas. Rob also always looked forward to his annual trip to Mazatlán to meet up with long-time friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Tarr for his compassion and kindness. Also a thank you to the nurses and staff at South Okanagan General Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit at Mariposa.
A service and celebration of life will be held at The Osoyoos Golf Club 2:00Pm Saturday March 29th.
