March 24, 1972 – April 26, 2025

Richard “Rick” Maxwell, 53, passed away on April 26, 2025. Born on March 24, 1972, Rick was a devoted father, beloved son, and loyal brother.

Rick was predeceased by his mom “Lynne Maxwell” in 2013.

Rick is survived by his cherished daughter, Ashley, (Mother, Heidi); his father John and his brother, Rob (Wife Kellylee)

He was a hardworking, dedicated truck driver who spent many years on the road, embracing the freedom and adventure of life behind the wheel.

Rick grew up working on cars with his dad and brother Rob and friends. He especially enjoyed vacations riding motorbikes, at The Glen and in Osoyoos with his family — places that held some of his favorite memories.

Rick had a huge heart and a generous spirit — he was always there when you needed a hand, a laugh, or simply someone to listen.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. A celebration of life will be held September 20 2025 in Osoyoos, BC.
