Randy Blair Gushulak

November 16, 1950 – March 15, 2025

We would like to share the unexpected passing of Randy Blair Gushulak at the age of 74. Randy was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and son; and will be missed by so many more. Befitting Randy, he died while travelling the world, and was in East Africa with his wife, Cathy (nee Poulin) when he passed from us on March 15, 2025.

Randy was born in Edmonton to mother, Helga (nee Jacobson) and father, Pawlo Gushulak, both predeceased.

Randy is survived by his loving wife; sister, Sandra Brown; sons; Philip (Alex) Gushulak, Grant (Sandra) Gushulak, and Michael (Lindy) Gushulak; grandchildren, Hattie and Fia; nieces, Christina and Carrie and nephew James.

Randy worked as an electrician and welder for the IBEW across Canada. He retired and moved to Oliver to be close to family. He was always first in line to help his family and his community with both his hands and his ideas.

Randy loved to travel, trying his utmost to dip his feet in every ocean! He was an avid golfer, curler, fisher and hunter. His zest for life, community spirit, generosity and love for his family will forever be in our hearts.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday April 26, 2025 at the Cherry Grove Estates Clubhouse, 6601 Tucelnuit Drive, Oliver, BC.
