July 3, 1975 – December 29, 2024

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mitchell Alan Peckinpaugh on December 29, 2024, aged 49 years, following an eight-month battle with cancer.

Mitch leaves behind his parents Judy and Cam, sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Richard Park, niece and nephew Emma and Benjamin, aunt and uncle Lynn and Vern Schaefer, cousins Kim Bates and Doug Schaefer, as well as extended family in BC and Manitoba.

A long-time resident of Richmond, Mitch made many long-lasting friendships through school, sporting activities (baseball, soccer, darts, bowling, and golf), his work in the aviation industry, and most recently, at Praxair.

At Mitch’s request, a celebration of life service will be held in Richmond at a later date.
