It is with great pain and sadness that we had to say goodbye to our mom, Marguerite Allan, on Friday March 6, 2026 at the age of 86.

She is survived by her children Susan, Scott (Elaine) and Wendy; grandchildren Katelin, Stephanie, Cheryl and Randi as well as eight great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Nelson Edward (Ed) Allan and her brothers Peter and Henry Guise.

We are all going to miss her sense of humour, her spunkiness, her kindness and even her stubbornness.  Marguerite was an avid gardener and she couldn’t wait to get outside and get her hands dirty.  Her flower gardens were always beautiful.  She also loved to bake.  She made the best zucchini cakes.  She was also very involved with the Osoyoos Seniors Centre and provided leadership for the Bridge Club for many years.

We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the Oliver and Penticton hospitals.  Your care and compassion was very appreciated.

The family will be having a private celebration of her life in July.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Salvation Army or the SPCA.

We love you mom and hope you are having a great reunion with dad and family as well as all our pets.  Rest in peace.
