June 30, 1932 – May 30, 2024

On May 30, 2024, the world lost a very special lady, a beloved and integral part of our family.

She modeled and gifted to all she encountered a legacy of kindness, patience, and strength with her quiet, lovely and firm disposition.

June, or Junie as she liked to be known, grew up in the challenging 1930s on the Prairies with her pioneering ranching family prior to moving to Bridesville BC in the 1940s.

In Bridesville she met the love of her life, Willard, and they recently celebrated their 73 rd wedding anniversary.

In the early days Willard and June lived a very rural life and she always found ways to make life seem like we never did without – like electrical power, running water or indoor facilities. We cannot recall her ever complaining and remain grateful for her approach of a positive attitude and creativeness.

Missing her presence in our family is her husband Willard, daughter Sharlet (Michael) son Edward (Sharon), 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren with another arriving shortly. If you met her in your life’s journey you have been touched by her welcoming presence.

On June 30 th, 2024, at 2:00pm a Celebration of Life and June’s 92nd birthday party will be held at the Bridesville Community Hall.
