August 12, 1937 – April 11, 2025

On Friday, April 11, 2025, Howard Wayne Slingsby of Osoyoos passed away peacefully through MAID after a brief illness with cancer at the age of 87 years.

He was predeceased by his mother, Esther Slingsby; father, Howard Slingsby; brother, Jack Slingsby and sister, Jean Mullen.

Howard will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife, Judith (Judy); brother, Bob Slingsby; sister, Judy Bennet; son, Craig Slingsby and grandsons, Ryland Slingsby and Dolan Slingsby.

Howard enjoyed a long and successful career as an auto body technician and ICBC Adjustor.

He enjoyed fishing, his faithful dog, Jock, golf and was a charter member of the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club.

A graveside urn interment will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday May 7, 2025 at the Osoyoos lakeview Cemetery.
