February 9, 1944 – August 18, 2024

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, Mr. Gerald (Gerry) Wayne Roberts of Osoyoos passed away at his home at the age of 80 years.

He was predeceased by his mother, Bernice Roberts (nee Able); father, Wayne Roberts and brother, James Roberts.

Gerry will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife, Gisella (Sally) Roberts (nee Greschner); daughter, Sharon Roberts; son-in-law, Jesse Steele and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gerry worked for many years as an Archeologist with the Province of BC and as a truck driver/forklift operator with BC Tree Fruits.

He enjoyed long drives, including a trip across Canada and the western USA with Sally. He was a talented woodworker and photographer. He loved birdwatching, local history and doing crossword puzzles.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday September 14, 2024 at the Osoyoos Senior’s Centre followed by a toast to Gerry at the Roberts residence.

Donations in Gerry’s memory are appreciated to the Osoyoos Museum or the BC Cancer Foundation Kelowna Centre.
