March 29, 1929 – June 30, 2025

On Monday, June 30, 2025, Eileen Edna Mary Schultz, nee Walker, of Osoyoos, passed away peacefully at the age of 96.

She is predeceased by her husband, Herbert; her brothers Vern and Ian Walker; and her parents, Fred and Mary Walker.

Eileen is survived by her daughter Elaine Harper (Doug); son Jack Schultz (Rita); sisters Shirley Olson and Beverley Degner; grandchildren Keith Harper (Barb), Allan Harper (Alison), Michael Schultz (Joanne), David Schultz (Toni), Adam Schultz (Kim), and Patrick Schultz (Heather); great grandchildren Nathan (Samantha) and Brayden Harper, Stacy, Melanie, Logan and Laura Schultz, and Jessie(Christopher), Bryan (Amanda), and Graham McSweyn; great- great grandchildren Abigail Shogren, Camren, Scott, Jacob, Logan, Dante, and Charlotte McSweyn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Eileen devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and stay-at-home mom. She loved baking and always had a batch of fresh buns ready whenever family came for a visit. She spent her free time volunteering as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 173 and with the Ladies Auxiliary at Valley Congregational Church. Eileen also had a love of travel and visited China, Australia, Hawaii, Mexico, and England, and went on many cruises that took her to India, Holland, the east coast of Canada, and many more places.
