FILIATRAULT, ED (Joseph) of Oliver, BC, peacefully passed away at Moog and Friends Hospice in Penticton, BC, on October 10, 2025, at the age of 85.

Ed was cherished and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lin; his daughter, Sheree Mann (Mike) and their children, Mackenzie and Carter, of Toronto, ON; his son, Sean Filiatrault (Kendra) of Port Moody, BC. Loving brother to his sister, Deb Gerbasi (Gord) of Ottawa, ON. Fond memories were made over the years with Lin’s daughter Daina and son Ritchie. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Rosario (Russ Sr.) Filiatrault, and his siblings, Anita and Russ Filiatrault, all formerly of North Bay. He remembered them all with a great deal of love, just as he is loved now.

Ed was widely known for his willingness to help others, his joie de vivre and his ability to fix anything. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. Ed thoroughly enjoyed golfing with his friends, fishing with his brother, Russ, and snowbirding in Arizona, with his wife, Lin. Ed had a successful and lifelong career at Boart Longyear in North Bay, ON, and Vancouver, BC. He was a proficient skater and hockey player in his youth.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
