March 14, 1942 – January 6, 2025

On January 6 2025, David Arthur Herman of Osoyoos, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 82, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was predeceased by his wife, Pamela; parents, Henry Arthur & Margaretha, brother William (Bill) and sister-in-law, Wilma; brother Sonny; sister Martha and brother-in-law Henry; sister Freda and brother-in-law Charlie; sisters, Mary, Louise, and Lorraine, and brother-in-law Lloyd.

Dave was a quiet man and known as the peacemaker in the family, always calm, cool and collected. Dave was selfless when it came to supporting his wife or children. Whether it was sports or other interests he was willing to drive them anywhere, anytime, all that was needed was a phone call.

David got one last call January 6th to meet the love of his life, and true to form he dropped everything and drove down that road one last time.

David is survived by his sons, Brian and Colin (Clorissa); grandson, Cohen; sister, Helen; sisters-in-law, Anita, & Janice (Barry); brothers-in-law, Mike (Lesley) & Randy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

We thank the nurses and health team at the South Okanagan General Hospital for great support, care and help.
