March 31, 1931 – June 8, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony J. (Tony) Brummet on June 8, 2024, comfortably at home.

Tony was born on March 31, 1931 in Mendham, Saskatchewan. After high school graduation, he entered a one-year teacher training program at Victoria Normal School. Over the years he upgraded his academic credentials, eventually earning his Bachelor of Arts, and began taking vice-principal and principal positions.

Tony was predeceased by his first wife Audrey, his younger brother Frank, older sisters Beth and Phyllis, eight older half-sisters, and two older step-brothers.

Tony is survived by wife Lois, sister Cecile, son Tom (Patricia), daughters Heather and Sue (Rob), step-sons Graham (Sandra) and Scott (Lisa), step-daughter Mary, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church in Osoyoos on July 3, 2024 at 11am. Interment will be held at a later date in Fort St. John.
