On Wednesday January 27th, Janice Mae Mauger (Erickson) passed away peacefully at Deni House in Williams Lake.

Janice resided at Deni House long term care for the last 3 months, after being transferred from McKinney Place in Oliver, BC where she had been a resident since April 2018.

Janice will be missed dearly by son Kevin (Ali); daughter Carleen (Ralph); grandchildren Heather (Chad), Arlaina (Jordan) and Craig (Emma); great-grandchild Jesse; all her nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by loving husband Eric Mauger of 63 years; her mother, father, sisters and brother.

Janice enjoyed a full life, moving to Oliver, BC in 1965, where she and Eric raised two children. She worked at the packing house in Oliver, later on she took a hairdressing course and opened a shop, Shear Delight.

Her and partner, Walter Pohl ran a very shop for 11 years. Janice enjoyed many activities, golfing, curling and skiing. She loved sewing and knitting and made many beautiful things that she generously shared with others.

Janice loved to spend time with family and adored the times she spent with the grandchildren. She liked to go camping with Eric and with family too.

Janice was a kind and considerate person that will be truly missed for her jokes and booming laughter.
