It is with sorrow that the family of Phoebe Lumsden, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt announce that she passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 19, 2021. She was 89 years old.

She was predeceased by her husband Reginald, daughter Margaret and sister Ruth.

After shared raising of four children with her husband Reg Lumsden Phoebe became a tutor for the English language by entering into adult education to acquire her teaching certification. She was a tutor for many years helping students become proficient in speaking and writing English.

Phoebe enjoyed community pastimes with twin sister Ruth, known when together as ‘the twins’ to many in the Oliver community. Both sharing in their love of music sang with Anglican and Sages choirs.

Phoebe will be forever remembered in our hearts.
