It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 68.

After a long battle with Leukemia, Mark passed away from complications from his bone marrow transplant.

He was predeceased by his father John Nesdoly and mother Margaret Nesdoly (Balogh).

He is survived by his wife Diane McGuire, his children Kevin and Nina, sister Carol and niece Jennifer, Uncle Paul and Aunt Donna, Aunt Irene, cousins Frank Balogh (Deb), Brad Wood (Ellen), Greg Balogh (Wendy), Wayne Balogh (Sonia), step children Jessica (Simon), Meghan (Kosrat), Christine (James), Joanne (Jordan) and Colin and grandchildren Leah, Hailey, Dylan and Finnigan.

Mark was born and raised in Osoyoos where he still has numerous friends. He was known for his dry sense of humour and intellect. He was a highly respected team member at PCL for 15 years as a Senior Building Systems Coordinator. He loved travelling around the world and pursued many physical activities such as skiing, hockey, golf and motorcycle riding. Other pursuits included photography, books, music, cigars and scotch.

Mark’s wish was to have his remains returned to Osoyoos where a celebration of life will take place in May.
