On Saturday, November 16, 2019, Mrs. Edith “Irene” Neely of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age 95 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Jack Neely; her parents Harvey and Winnie Frazer; sisters Margaret, Bernice, Rhoda and Lorna and niece Debbie.

Irene will be fondly remembered by her family including sister Gladys Murray of Minnedosa, MB; brother-in-law Bill Wolfe of Osoyoos, BC; nieces, nephews and their families and many friends.

Irene was born on June 17, 1924 in Clanwilliam, MB. She was a long-time resident of Richmond, BC before moving to Osoyoos in 2016 to be near her niece, Lori Scott.

She was a life-long volunteer and even participated in the Alzheimer fundraising campaign over the past few years in Osoyoos.

The family would like to express appreciation to the nursing and support staff at Mariposa Gardens and Dr. J. Bellingan for their care and patience and to Irene’s Mariposa neighbours for their companionship.

Urn interment will take place at the Capilano Cemetery in West Vancouver.
