It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Alexander Evans announces his very sudden passing on December 11th, 2019 at the age of 58 years old. He was born on May 7th, 1961, in Oliver, BC, where he has lived for most of his life playing hockey and dirt biking. For many years he has worked as a truck driver, but has always had a passion for logging and building log cabins.

Mark will forever be remembered and loved by his daughters Lee’al (Austin) and Alysha, and by his sister Teresa (Rob) and brother Andy. He will also be remembered by his many loving nephews and nieces as well as many great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and dear friends. He was a loving father, a kind man, and a great friend.

He is predeceased by his father Clark Evans, and mother Mary Evans.

His memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 at the Oliver Community Centre at 11:00 am.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff in the Critical Care Unit at Kelowna General Hospital for caring for Mark during the time he spent there. His family requests that donations be made to the Critical Care Unit – Kelowna General Hospital, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1T2, in lieu of flowers.
